About New York Kids Give

New York Kids Give is a kid-led, volunteer-powered initiative that helps young people discover causes they care about and find meaningful ways to make a difference.

Kids connect with local nonprofits to learn about their work, raise awareness, and take action—whether by sharing what they've learned, volunteering, or fundraising if they choose.

The idea began in Stowe, Vermont, where Gabriel Robert Letorney launched Stowe Kids Give as a fourth grader. After moving to New York City in 2026, Gabriel is now working with other kids to launch New York Kids Give—bringing that same spirit of generosity, leadership, and local action to his new community.
